My first project in my professional career was developing and implementing an ERP application for a distribution company in Pakistan and ever since then, I have been involved in Supply chain. I have managed and implemented ERP and warehouse management systems in the automotive and other manufacturing companies in Europe & North America to most recently at Cardinal Health, a Fortune 16 company globally and leader in health care distribution.
At Cardinal Health
Facilitated and led the Canada leadership team through development planning and execution of the 5-year strategy by establishing a project delivery and governance framework linking strategy with execution.
Led an enterprise change management program, including developing the vision, mission, strategic pillars and goals with the executive team.
At PdMain
Established a Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for creating, implementing and managing a project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) across the organization to deliver repeatable results.
eCommerce
My first engagement with eCommerce was at Workopolis, where we sold intangible products and services like job posting packs and then I managed both B2B and B2C eCommerce sites at Cardinal Health with over 100,000 products and a complex supply chain engine behind it.
Here are few more details about my experience with eCommerce:
At Pivotree
Led and facilitated the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) initiative globally, including the current state assessment, process definitions, rollout planning and post roll out engagement program.
At Cardinal Health
Launched and Managed the B2B & B2C eCommerce businesses and established Cardinal Health as a leader in the Canadian digital healthcare space. Launched the B2B eCommerce site on the HCL Commerce (formerly IBM web commerce) platform and a successful pilot B2C site in Ontario on the “Shopify” platform in 2019.
Introduced and implemented ‘Agile’ (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies in technology and non-technology settings
At Workopolis
Established the Project Management Office (PMO) and implemented the Open Agile methodology.
Implemented and championed ‘Agile’ (Scrum) and revamped and relaunched the B2B eCommerce site.
ERP Applications
My first project in my professional career was to manage an ERP development implementation for a distribution company. Since then, I have led many enterprise system implementations with a variety of system in a variety of settings. Here are few details of my experience with ERP implementations:
At Cardinal Health,
Managed multiple program enterprise applications implementation and improvement programs across ERP (JD Edwards, SAP Financials, etc.), CRM (Salesforce), Warehouse Management System (AIMS), Transportation Management System (Tecsys), EDI, etc.
At Workopolis
Led the implementation of NetSuite ERP system including financials and CRM, increasing the system adoption from 40% to 90%.
At PdMain
Established a Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for creating, implementing and managing a project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) across the organization to deliver repeatable results.
Delivered over 20 high-profile ERP implementation projects in supply chain management, logistics, distribution, warehouse management and manufacturing space with a special focus in the areas of export packing for automotive sector.
Managed complete business process transformation projects for various supply chain, logistics and distribution companies.
Managed organizational change with large organizations and acted as the change management champion, overseeing the day-to-day running of the organization post implementation.
